I ordered a SubZero SZ-400 mic and mini boom mic stand from Gear4Music, and paid for next available day delivery. It arrived next day using DPD, which allowed tracking and a good indication of delivery time. Unfortunately the mic boom had a manufacturing defect which meant the clamp was a bit broken, so I sent an email explaining and asking for a new clamp. Gear4Music replied promptly and sent out a complete new boom, next day! Their Twitter presence is also great - they knew who I was when I tweeted about them and gave a personal response. May wife also bought a Cajon for me for Christmas, and she used Gear4Music as well. They were apparently very helpful and talked her through all the pro's and con's of each one. All in all, a great company to buy from. And before you suspect anything, I wasn't paid for this review, just a very happy camper!

Purchased a lot of equipment from these guys, never had a problem am now a lifetime member of the V.I.P club, where you get decent discounts and special offers.
And the way these guys package their equipment for shipping is something to be admired, boxes within boxes with strong thick cardboard webbing surrounding everything. I bought a set of KRK's from these guys too and had purchased a set prior again the way all the corners were protected and the individual speakers bubble wrapped heavily, the other outfit just dumped them off in the box, quite unsettling.
Imagine taking your prized monitor speakers fresh out of the box to find damaged corners ?!!

I bought a Student Gold French Horn as it was cheap!! I am 60, had a stroke and had to give up the trumpet, due to disability but have tried a trombone for a year in a community band(s). The band conductor suggested I try a horn, and I tried the band's knackered but playable one. Hence the purchase on spec. What this is, is a bargain for the price!!! Full double horn with Holton config. valve sys. Does what it says. Brilliant! Chuffed to bits. Nice tone, in tune! what more could you ask?

I ordered a Tanglewood TW73E parlour guitar as a replacement for my TW73WNE because of small but crucial advantages for me. It was listed as used and was priced as such, but turned out to be ex demo [though still with labels] and is absolutely immaculate - essentially 'as new'.
It arrived exactly on time as requested and was well packed. I was able to track the consignment from despatch to within a few minutes of delivery also a commendable system and performance by DPD.

Your sales desk team were really welcoming, very jolly and helpful.
