Jackson Guitars began as collaboration between Randy Rhoads (Quiet Riot/Black Sabbath) and the company's founder, Grover Jackson. Rhoads began to meet with Grover on a regular basis with the intention of designing a distinctive new guitar which would later become the Jackson Rhoads Guitar. From 1980 and onwards, the popularity of Jackson guitars grew and saw an insurgence on the heavy-metal scene. Notable users of Jackson guitars include Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden), Phil Demmel (Machinehead) and Matt Tuck (Bullet For My Valentine). The JS30KE Kelly, JS30 Rhoads and RR24M Rhoads have all proved popular Jackson guitars at Gear4music.com thanks to their sleek yet outlandish body designs, diversity and fast-playing necks. |
