PA Systems are crucial to many musicians – they are the last element in a live rig, bearing the responsibility for the quality of sound reproduced. The higher the wattage the louder and more powerful they will sound. Speakers and PA packages, such as the Yamaha Stagepas 300 or Behringer Europort, differ in power, measured in watts, and can be either active, like the Mackie Thump series, or passive –passive speakers, like the Peavey Messenger range, require an external amp to boost the signal. |
