Tama Drum Kits are one of the world's most recognisable and respected drum manufacturers, making a huge range of hardware and acoustic kits. The company started in 1965 to offer affordable drum kits to the Japanese market, at that time flooded with higher priced kits from Rogers, Ludwig and Slingerland. Today Tama drum kits are played by some of the biggest names in drumming, such as Stuart Copeland of The Police, Dave Mackintosh of Dragonforce, and Lars Ulrich of Metallica.
