However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers.

  • Warranty is extended to 10 years from the date of delivery.
  • Our Money Back guarantee is extended from 30 days to 180 days (terms apply after 30 days)
  • Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years in the event of an item becoming faulty

AKG C7 Reference Condenser Microphone

Custom-tuned supercardioid condenser capsule

The AKG C7 is a high-end, handheld condenser microphone designed for live vocal performances. The studio-quality sound is down to the custom-tuned supercardioid condenser capsule, complete with hand-selected components. The result is pristine audio fidelity with sparkling highs and a pronounced low-end for a full bodied sound.

The C7 can also handle high sound pressure levels, ensuring your audio fidelity remains in-tact, even when pushed to its limit. One of the most unique features of the C7 is the open-space capsule technology. This is comprised of a specially designed inner-capsule holder and three window ports, reducing air transference and inner reflection for improved audio performance. This helps to minimise feedback and spill, whilst in use.

Shock absorber suspension

Another unique feature of the C7 is the proprietary mechano-pneumatic shock absorber suspension. This helps to eliminate handling noise, retaining your natural harmonics for improved audio performance. The capsule is situated on top of a unique rubber insert, helping to prevent vibrations from the housing. The specially-picked rubber material provides strong absorptive characteristics.

Enhanced pop filter

The integrated three-layer pop noise rejection system helps to eliminate sibilance and plosive noises while you perform.
