Thoughtful Design and Construction
The Rosedale intermediate flute is the ideal flute for your next step of playing. Careful attention has been paid to the head joint design with a free-blowing, rounded mouth piece giving you a flexible tone that can be produced with ease.
French pointed arms give a truly superior feel, combining the elegance of advanced, classic design, with the strength you need from an instrument that will last. This means that your flute will be less prone to misalignment, signifying less frequent servicing and ensures a life-long instrument. The high grade build quality increases the playability of the key work which is most notable when playing faster passages making this flute ideal for building technique and taking your playing to the next level.
Open Hole & Italian Double Skin Pad
Open hole keys allow you to achieve more advanced fingering with proper finger placement, which is important for your tonal quality and general sound. As well as this, open hole flutes enable the players to create special effects when playing, as you can partially cover the pads to bend pitch and create multiphonics, as well as helping you reach the fourth octave. The flute comes with key plugs which help you to transition with ease from a closed hole flute. As you build your positioning, posture and confidence you can take the plugs out as required, until you are completely used to the feel of playing open hole.
With double skin Italian pads, you can be assured of a superior, more accurate seal, which ensures accurate intonation and comfortable playing.
The Offset G Mechanism allows for an easier and more comfortable reach of the flute making the flute a natural fit, great for smaller hands. As well as this, the mechanism makes the flute more accessible when cleaning and easier to service.
The Split E Mechanism also offers more control of the High E, thus creating a stable, tuneful note. The mechanism can be considered essential for players taking their grades and can improve scales and overall sound.
Included with the Rosedale Intermediate Flute is a canvas covered moulded hard case, which makes transporting the instrument to rehearsals and gigs really easy, especially with the aid of the shoulder strap. Also included in the case is a cleaning rod, which combined with a cloth, will make cleaning the instrument quick and efficient.
