The Handheld Vocal Microphone

Designed to capture vocal performances on stage with astoundingly natural and transparent reproduction, DPA's handheld vocal microphone is a unique modular solution with incredible SPL handling capabilities. The microphone allows you to switch out the capsule and/or the adapter, providing you with an incredibly versatile tool ideal for use on stage thanks to its high separation, as well as being perfectly suited to recording and sound reinforcement applications.

The capsules utilise directional characteristics from both cardioid and supercardioid patterns, ensuring true sound colour and excellent separation. These capsules can be switched out with any DPA handheld microphone capsule dependent on your specific needs or requirements. The microphone also features switchable adapters. These adapters include the SE2-ew for Sennheiser 2000/9000/Evolution wireless systems, the SE5 for Sennheiser 5200 systems, the SL1 for Shure, Sony, Lectrosonics, and Line6 systems, and the W12 for Wisycom systems. The adapter can also be switched to DPA's ergonomic handle, enabling wired (XLR) functionality.

Alongside the handheld microphone's modular design, the mic is built to deliver exceptional operation throughout its entire life thanks to impeccable build quality and operation features. The microphone features a robust three-stage pop protection grid that is built into the unit, preventing unwanted noise, whilst the microphone itself features low handling noise and a linear frequency response and phase, both on and off-axis.
