Comments from customers who bought this item:
The TC Helicon Play Acoustic enables you to sound your best. Whether you want clean and bright vocals with tight reverb and simple harmony or tasty delays, thick doubles and edgy hardtuning the Acoustic Play can handle it. TC have improved the portamentio and humanization of their renowned effects so your backing will sound more realistic than ever. Play Acoustic is also clever enough to follow your guitar chords and automatically harmonise with you. The Play Acoustic is also equipped with Adaptive Tone which acts as your own sound engineer providing automatic intelligent control of Compressions, EQ, De-essing and Gating giving you the impact to stand out in the mix.
The Play Acoustic will treat your guitar sound with respect. Tailor made guitar sounds from TC Electronic add a touch of sweetness with essential styles from their TonePrint pedals whilst the direct Guitar DI output ensures fidelity all the way to the PA. The BodyRez™ function restores acoustic tone to guitars fitted with undersaddle pickups ensuring your guitar sounds rich and full bodied. Carefully placed filters and fast acting compression combine to reduce "piezo-quack". Dial in as much or as little BodyRez as you need and use the handy EQ controls to fine-tune the dynamics of your sound.
Using the Play Acoustic is easy and simple. Use the Up/Down footswitches or central knob to easily browse factory presets, or use the GENRE button to find styles that you like. Dedicated VOCAL FX and GUITAR FX buttons let you access effects directly, and the intuitive user interface makes editing simple and fast. Create your own library of presets with the FAVOURITE feature for easy 'setlist' recall. Separate mono XLR outputs for vocals and guitar makes it painless for any sound engineer to mix the levels perfectly for your audience, or you can set the output to Stereo and create your own custom panoramic stereo mix.
HIT is a feature for performance - building intensity into your vocals. Press the HIT button to turn on multiple effects at once and create quick A/B scenes for each preset. Use it to add dazzling vocal effects for the chorus, or strip it down for the verse - it's your call.
The VLOOP™ performance looper allows you to create complete guitar and vocal loops for solo jamming or impressive layered live performances. VLOOP is also handy for soundcheck; record a short phrase and walk out into the audience to check levels while your virtual you plays.
In Ear Monitoring
The embedded RoomSense mics can be used to pick uo sounds from the room, the stage or the instruments around you and add ambience to your headphone mix when performing or practising. For a great practice feature, plug in your MP3 player via the AUX In connector and use the Vocal Cancel feature to make your voice stand out over the vocals on the original track. Record and playback your singing using the USB connection to your computer or DAW.

However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers.
The highlights of this enhanced warranty service are:
- Warranty is extended to 6 years from the date of delivery.
- Our Money Back guarantee is extended from 30 days to 180 days (terms apply after 30 days)
- Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years
- Claim 50% cash back on the cost of the policy after 6 years if it has not been used!
- Warranty is transferable if the item is re-sold
- Loan or replacement equipment will be provided if the product isn't repaired within 30 days
- If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered
- The policy can be cancelled within 30 days, and at any time after that for a pro-rata discount
Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided.
For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs.
This enhanced warranty is in addition to the standard Gear4music and manufacturer warranty policies, and the Gear4music terms and conditions of trade. No statement or condition of sale contained within these terms affects or restricts your statutory rights as defined under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2014.
