Equipped on this model are Dual Custom Shop hand-wound Twisted Tele pickups, specially designed to bring out the best in each position to create a unique sonic character. The neck position is higher, allowing for more windings, while the bridge is slightly shorter to create a dark, full-bodied midrange. When combined, these pickups are responsible for the Telecaster's hot high-output tone with a touch of sparkling Strat character.
Its fat '50s wiring enhances the overall voicing of the instrument by increasing the clarity, transparency, and responsiveness of the volume and tone controls. Unlike typical guitar wiring, which can result in a loss of treble when the volume is rolled back, the fat '50s maintains the clarity, resulting in a more even and sumptuous sound.
