The Xeno Series
The Xeno series draws together a map of craftsmanship that involves the design, advanced technology and the experience, talent and dreams of honoured artists from all over the world. The trumpets in this series are here to inspire their players with the incredible power and projection that they produce. Together with their redefined resistance and response these trumpets have great tonal flexibility. Xeno trumpets continue to develop towards their artists' needs in order to be the ideal musical instruments on the market.
Resistant to corrosion and ideal for professional trumpet pistons that need to keep a precise fit and smooth action for years to come.
Yamaha works with specialist computer-controlled annealing equipment to make sure that their instruments produce a consistently superior sound as a result of the heating and cooling process.
Hand-Lapped Pistons and Slides
Ensuring that there is a perfect seal between the pistons and casing, the hand-lapping pistons and slides achieve smooth air flow and action whilst also improving the response and intonation of the instrument.
New Mouthpiece Receiver Length
The newly improved receiver length has helped to enhance the responsiveness of the instrument.
New Valve Stems, Buttons and Caps
These new Yamaha features have added to the feel of the horn as well as to give it a sharper overall look.
Hand-Hammered One-Piece Bell
The Yamaha YTR-8335GS’s one-piece bell consists of an axial seam that enables a continuous extension of the trumpet’s materials, resulting in pure, uniform resonance and superior tones. A hammered yellow brass bell yields a perfectly-balanced tone with fast response and added presence due to its advanced manufacturing.
This Yamaha Trumpet features a perfectly rounded tubing that results in less turbulence and a smoother air flow, which enables the instrument to produce a great scale of music and reduced resistance.
Laser-Fused Pluzuma-Welded Bell
The high energy laser causes the brass to fuse together creating an almost seamless bell that can produce continuous even vibrations.
Double Main Tuning Slide Braces
The doubles braces help the instruments tonal colours and response.
Specially Treated Metal
Yamaha designers developed the Xeno trumpet’s metal treatment process through the help of some research. The new process for treating the instrument’s metal has made some improvements to the heavyweight instrument including; a more powerful delivery, better control, and richer sounds.
The Yamaha YTR-8335GS features a thicker leadpipe that helps the trumpet have a better response and tone.
Heavier trumpets are made from heavier metals in comparison to standard weighting trumpets. Thicker metal produces a darker tone that doesn’t break up with volume.
The New Bell Design
The new bell design helps this trumpet achieve its optimum resistance for an impressive tonal core. It also adds to the playability in the upper register.
Thinner Valve Casing & Pistons
Thanks to the thinner valve casing and pistons performers are now provided with an instrument with the ideal blowing resistance, as well as the improved response due to the modified angle of the branch tube (knuckle).
Improved Water Key
To give players an increased optimum resistance Yamaha has now improved the height of the main slide water key gutter. The ends of the water key have also been changed and are now curled for improved response.
Everything You Need
The Yamaha Xeno trumpet comes with a TRC-800E case and a 16C4-HGP mouthpiece, making this outfit the perfect all-in-one package to get you started. At the perfect weight balance for an all-round use this mouthpiece is the perfect addition to this outfit. Use this instrument straight from the box with everything that you need included.
