This system features Intel newest, most powerful multi-core technology (i7 920) processor with hyper-threading technology, 3GB of extremely fast 1333MHz RAM and a silent 640GB SATA 'System' drive for all your software applications. When paired up with one of our eSATA LaCie External Hard Drives for your media files, this computer gives you plenty of storage, power and performance to ensure your workflow is maintained. Whether using your existing audio interface or by choosing one from our extensive range, you'll have all you need to achieve professional quality results. Featuring eSATA, Firewire and USB ports as standard, you have the on-board connections you need to hook up all your external hardware.
The dedicated 512MB 4350HD Silent Graphics Card relieves some of the strain from the CPU, allowing you more processing power for all your VSTi's and plug-ins. The 4350HD also supports the use of two TFT monitors, which is ideal for those running multiple audio editing applications.
All our systems have been proofed for component compatibility to ensure maximum reliabilty to the end-user. We also offer a full testing and configuration service as an optional accessory; this includes the installation and configuration of any software/hardware you purchase with your Red Sub PC, along-side a general testing of the system before shipment.
If you want to listen to your creations through studio quality speakers, we recommend the excellent KRK Rokit RP5 G2 Active Monitors - compact in size, but offering the clarity and response of much higher-priced models.
Why not add a MIDI controller keyboard such as the Akai MPK49 and explore the world of electronic music production? The MPK49 features 8 Sliders, 8 Knobs and 12 MPC-style pads which come with preset mapping for Cubase, Ableton and Reason among others.
Specification:
A secondary storage device is highly recommended in addition to the 'System' drive supplied as standard. An external storage device will not only offer performance benefits, but also gives you portability.
We recommend the Western Digital External Hard Drives that can be selected from the 'Optional Accessories' list below. These are available in 500GB, 1TB and 2TB versions and uses eSATA, FireWire and USB 2.0 connections. Using the eSATA connection will give you the best performance results.
If you require us to install your purchased software and audio interface, you can select the 'System Setup - Configuration & Test Service' from the 'Optional Accessories' list below. If you are comfortable installing and configuring the system yourself, then simply do not add this service to your basket.
