Intuitive Interface
Auto-Tune 8 from Antares is the industry-standard for pitch correction technology, delivering unprecedented natural expression, retaining the sonic clarity and nuances of the vocal performance. The highly intuitive interface features a comprehensive range of controls and parameters, allowing you to control every aspect of the tone, correction style and more. The interface works in two modes, Automatic and Graphical. Automatic Mode is designed for the most common pitch problems, designed for all skill ranges. The Automatic Mode detects the input pitch and instantly corrects the sound to the closest pitch in your own specified scale. The Graphical Mode is for more advances users, giving you in-depth pitch and time editing tools, displaying the pitch envelope and allowing you to modify it as you desire.
Flex-Tune Pitch Correction Technology
One of the most prominent additions to this version of Antares Auto-Tune is the Flex-Tune Pitch Correction Technology. In previous versions of Auto-Tune, the standard method of pitch corrections was to pull every note towards a scale note. Flex-Tune technology is designed to only provide correction when the vocal performance approaches a scale. When they do not hit a scale note they are free to sing with every nuance of the original performance, ensuring the sound retains its natural characteristics. Auto-Tunes Note mode has also been upgraded with the ability to provide Audio Feedback of your note edits. This allows you to select new notes using your ears as reference, ideal for those who prefer to listen than edit parameters.
Low-Latency Mode
The Antares Auto-Tune 8 Pitch Correction Software also features a new Low Latency Mode. This new ultra-low latency mode is ideal for live performances and tracking applications. Allowing you to monitor the vocal performance without any noticeable delay. Additionally, Auto-Tune 8 provides you with a range of in-depth tools and controls as well as further enhancements such as the ability to now use the editing tools during active playback. This is ideal for those who prefer editing on the fly or with loops, improving your workflow.

MIDI
- Auto-Tune 8's MIDI functions require that your computer be equipped with a MIDI interface and properly configured system level software. Some host applications may not support the routing of MIDI to plug-ins, in which case Auto-Tune 8's MIDI functions will not operate.
Auto-Tune 8 authorization requires an iLok USB smart key and the ability to access ilok.com (on any computer).
