The Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus's high-output "open-coil" pickups create powerful tones and sit comfortably with the pure open body and lack of pickguard. These include ceramic 496R humbucking pickup in the neck which provides rich, warm, vocal-like tones whilst also provideing punch and clarity with the ceramic magnet for rhythmic playing. You'll also be surprised that the 500T bridge pickup is great for leads as well, thanks to its ceramic magnet, whilst allowing great sustain and feedback.

Gibson's recognisable Tune-O-Matic bridge and TonePros™ tuners are of course included, so if you're looking for solid sustain and intonation you'd expect from most Gibsons then you're in good hands. Tuning up the guitar is also easy thanks to the pearloid buttons.

Along with the AA grade maple top, this guitar comes with a classic feel on the hands with a mahogany neck with a '60s SlimTaper™ profile. It also possesses a baked maple 22-fret fingerboard, which is a hardwood that is heat-treated to provide you with a very durable guitar with clear tones.
