A beautifully crafted mahogany body with a flame maple vintage burst finish gives the RS-501 a unique look and feel, mixing old with new. Its mahogany body dampens mid range frequencies to produce a 'wall of sound' tone, ideal for guitarists that like to rock, and it's set through neck allows the guitar to sustain like crazy.
Two covered humbucking pickups provide a warm, fat sound, ideal for rock and blues guitarists, but add distortion and the results can be explosive, making the RS-501 just as ideal for metal and punk guitarists.
Two volume knobs and two tone knobs make it effortless to find your ideal tone and changing from rhythm to lead tone is done so at the flick of a switch, using a three way pick-up selector switch.
A thin body and radical double cutaway design make it possible to hit higher frets with ease, and a sturdy set neck construction is great for the more energetic guitarist. Also, its Tune-o-Matic bridge is fully adjustable to allow precise adjustments to the action and intonation of the guitar.
