The G Series offers more sizes, colors, woods than in any other family of models that we offer. Made to our strict specifications, G Series instruments represent exceptionally good value. The G260 features a spruce top and mahogany back and sides in a smaller FXC body size. Other features include abalone fretboard position dots and chrome tuners
Over a dozen distinct dreadnought models are included in the G Series, many with solid spruce tops. There are cutaway and non-cutaway models, 12-strings, straight acoustics and acoustic/electrics, plus a wide choice of colors. There are also a selection of models with our smaller NEX and FXC body shapes, ideal instruments for vocal accompaniment. The G Series also includes several classic guitars that offer impressive performance at a very affordable price

NEX BODY
This body is a signature Takamine design. The top has a pleasing, rounded profile that is narrow at the waist, yet broad behind the bridge creating a soundboard that offers a balanced frequency response with deep bass, clear treble, and a sweet, round midrange that projects well. The body carries the depth of a dreadnought to ensure a great level of volume.
The NEX has the feel of a small-bodied guitar yet yields impressive performance, and is an excellent accompaniment to the singer-songwriter, or the finger-style player.
