Thanks to the automatic accompaniment feature, you can now transform your playing into an entire ensemble. This is why the EK series of portable keyboards has become a go-to instrument for both beginners and advanced musicians.
What really makes the Korg EK50L stand out are the newly designed speakers. These speakers are capable of delivering twice as much volume (SPL) compared to the previous EK50. This means you no longer have to rely on a PA system for your performances. What's more, the EK50L can utilise batteries, making it easier than ever to set up and play.
The 61-note keybed features full-sized keys, providing fluid playability. The keybed is ideal for both beginner keyboard players and skilled piano players making the transition to the digital world. The rear of the keyboard includes an input jack which allows you to connect an external device such as a smartphone or MP3 player.
Expand your sound library
As well as all the sounds you know and love from the EK50, the EK50L comes with a whole host of new sounds and backing styles. Now boasting an additional 87 preset sounds, 18 preset drum kits, and 24 keyboard sets that each combine four parts. These new sounds combined with the existing sounds create a wonderful palette of tones which are accessible at your fingertips. Also added are 10 backing pattern styles which emphasise the most current and modern dance styles.
Intuitive layout
The ergonomic layout makes it easy to change settings and parameters. The middle of the keyboard features a bright, crisp display. It provides all the information you need for selecting sound and style names. The large font size provides optimal visibility allowing you to find sounds and settings at a glance. Switches are illuminated by LEDs which allows you to visualise the setting of each function. It also includes a Grand Piano button which brings you back to the default setting. It also includes a USB port for connecting the keyboard to your computer for use with music software.
Free software bundle
To make the EK50L extra special, Korg has bundled in lots of free software from industry-leading audio experts. "Ozone Elements" lets you create and produce songs while also offering AI-powered mastering, "Skoove" trains you to enhance your keyboard skills, and "Reason Lite" is a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) so you can immediately jump into recording your own music. Also included are software synths from KORG and other brands.
