Highly connectable
The HX can become the center of your entire music making rig. It features stereo ins & outs alongside auxiliary ins & outs to utilise your own stomp box pedals or allow you to connect to an amplifier’s FX loop using the 4-cable method. The HX also has MIDI in/out, USB connection, and 2-amp connections to control your amplifier channel switching.
This pedal also packs an Impulse response feature, so should you wish to make a direct connection to a mixing desk or recording device, you can route a signal with IR modelling enabled. If you loved the idea of the Helix floorboard, but don’t require the amplifier modelling technology, you can now access those powerful and musical effects pedal models and integrate them with your computer. This provides you with a highly compact package that boasts an incredible array of sounds.
Classic Helix technology to enhance your performance
Loaded with the same technology features in the rest of this award-winning Helix product line, the HX streamlines the functionality to just the effects pedals. However, this still gives you access to a massive 100+ effects spanning from drives, modulations and reverbs to delays, wahs, pitch effects and many, many more. This technology is perfect for guitarists who don’t require the full-blown guitar/cabinet technology of the Helix but still wish to acquire a huge range of sounds for use with their rig.
The HX inherits many features from the Helix Floorboard. With 6 LED screens that have the ability to write ‘Scribble Strips’ and easily label your FX patches, the foot switches are also surrounded by colour changing LED light rings – so you can clearly see what effects you have activated at all times. These footswitches also house a touch-capacitive technology so, with the simple ouch of a finger, you can immediately access key FX parameters.
