With a 4 Valve Compensating System, the Coppergate Custom enables you to play in lower octaves, and use less complicated fingerings, leading to a better sound and easier playing experience. This system has an improved range and greater dexterity than a 3 valve setup, with superior intonation, sound and overall playability.
Responsive & Warm Mellow Sound
The inside diameter (bore) of the Coppergate is small to medium-size (17.5mm), which requires less air to play than a large bore tuba, making this instrument very responsive, perfect for advancing tuba players. Yellow brass construction on the bell ensures good acoustic properties and helps the Coppergate produce a warm mellow sound.

This item is an ex showroom display model. There are light scuffs and signs of use around the bell. These small cosmetic faults are only really noticeable when looking closely in the light.
Otherwise, the instrument plays as new.
There are scuffs around the edges of the carry case, but it is perfectly secure.
