Rack-Mountable Design
The Sherman Filterbank 2 Rack features a rack-mountable design, allowing it to fit comfortably within a rack stand. All controls and ports are positioned on the front giving you easy access. Its rack design is more ideal for producers and engineers who use rack stands within their workspace, allowing them to keep it organised with their other favourite rack gear.
Improved Design & Functionality
Sherman Filterbank 2 Rack comes with an improved design and added functionality. Provided are 5 new switches, and an extra footpedal input. Other new additions include 2 new LEDs, and an improved varnish layer. A 3-way switch has been added to the input stage allowing for high boosts and high cuts, plus a dedicated switch for 'Sensitrig' and 'Limit' have been added, which change the way the filters work. Additionally, the overall internal electronics have been upgraded to provide optimal performance and exceptional audio fidelity.
Powerful Filtering & Distortion
Providing a range of filters including low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass the Filterbank 2 is ideal for sound processing and effect mixing. The Filterbank 2 includes controls for resonance, frequency, and ADSR, allowing you to shape and mould the filters. The second filter boasts a 6-octave switch, which can be synced to the first filter for optimal flexibility. The ADSR generator for the filter features an external output, allowing you to integrate it with more filter banks or other modular equipment. The overdrive circuit is comprised of a VCA overdrive complete with AR generator and a ring modulator input.
In-Depth Controls
The retro-style attenuators are designed for optimal precision, allowing you to accurately dial in the required levels. They feature colour-coded lines, allowing for quick and easy access. A 3-way switch is included for the powerful tracking function. This acts as a monophonic pitch follower, tuning the second filter to the incoming pitch, which in turn makes the first filter a slave to the second via the harmonics switch. Additionally, a 3-way function switch is also included for the LFO section, allowing for various LFO modulation options.
