Cardioid is perfect for vocals and close-miking, giving you excellent isolation of your sound source. Figure-of-eight is great for a variety of uses, capturing what's in front of the mic and what's behind but blocking noise from the sides. It's ideal for interviews too, and a whole host of music applications. Then there's omnidirectional, used to capture everything around the microphone. This is great for a huge variety of uses, and is a great way to add room ambience to a recording or to prevent any unwanted wind noise. With a 24-bit/96kHz audio resolution, the G-Track Pro gives you exceptional accuracy, letting you faithfully capture every nuance and detail no matter what your sound source may be.
Integrated Audio Interface
One of the most innovative features of the G-Track Pro is the built-in instrument connection. This is perfect for musicians who want to record both an instrument and vocals simultaneously. It virtually acts as an audio interface, providing the ability to record bass, guitar, keyboard, and other line-level devices. You can even add a sub-mixer to record hosts and guests, whilst the built-in 2-track switch allows you to record the mic and instrument inputs on the same track for use when editing your audio.
Built-In Mixer and Headphone Connection
This versatile microphone even features a built-in mixer. The integrated control section features rotary pots for controlling the different volumes of the instrument input, microphone, and headphone output. A Mute button also lets you silence the input signals when needed, great for use when podcasting or streaming. It also features a built-in 1/8'' (3.5mm) stereo output for plugging in headphones for zero-latency monitoring.
