Accompanying the LS-P4 is a range of accessories designed to optimise the recorder for podcasting. Included with the recorder is a USB extension cable, a windshield and a compact mini tripod. The tripod is perfect for hands-free recording, ideal for vlogs, YouTube videos, podcasting and more.
The USB cable means you can connect the recorder directly to your computer, allowing you to record your favourite programs with ease. FLAC recording and playback
The LS-P4 is one of the first linear PCM recorders to be compatible with FLAC format. FLAC format recording reduces file size without a drop in quality. You can produce 96kHz/24-bit recordings that are better than CD quality, with 30 percent less file size compared to using PCM WAV, meaning less space yet better quality. As well as FLAC recording, the LS-P4 offers FLAC playback so you can use the recorder as a hi-res music player for FLAC-format files, or for MP3 and WAV formats. Built-in editing controls and wireless Bluetooth connectivity
Get creative with the LS-P4 thanks to its built-in editing functionality which means you can edit recordings without the need for a computer. The LS-P4 is equipped with a range of editing options including fade-in/fade-out, allowing you to gradually increase the volume of the sound from the first second of the sound source, and reduce the volume to the last second, making it ideal for linking songs naturally when recording live sound sources. This also eliminates unnatural click noises, resulting in cleaner audio recordings.
Overlay your original sound with the overdubbing function that allows you to record a sound source, then go back and dub in other sound sources such as rhythm, bass or vocals, enabling you to create your own musical recordings. You can listen to your original track and record a new track over the top all at the same time. Furthermore, the LS-P4 is equipped with a range of additional features to ensure dynamic and clean recordings.
The recorder allows you normalise recordings that were made too low, trim audio, and it features a built-in limiter for preventing sound from clipping. On top of that, the LS-P4 is also equipped with Bluetooth, allowing you to wirelessly play back music from a Bluetooth-enabled speaker or headphones so you can test out those recordings or tracks on a bigger system.
