The Elektron Outbox 8 is a dedicated multi-output interface for Overbridge-compatible Elektron setups, studio routing, and hybrid production workflows. Designed for use with devices such as the Digitakt II, Digitone II, and upcoming Tonverk, it expands a single stereo output into eight balanced mono outputs. This makes it much easier to separate drums, bass, synths, and other parts for external processing, cleaner mixing sessions, or more detailed live performance setups.
Instead of relying on one stereo mix, you can send individual groups to compressors, EQs, pedals, or recording channels independently. It's especially useful for producers using external hardware alongside Elektron gear, whether you're setting up dedicated drum buses, routing a kick drum for sidechain compression, or creating hardware FX sends with pedals and rack processors.
With support for up to four stereo output pairs, there's plenty of flexibility for both studio and live workflows. One of its standout features is matched latency with the connected Elektron device's internal stereo output. Recordings from the Outbox 8 and the main outputs stay perfectly aligned, helping you avoid timing offsets during tracking or parallel processing. The Outbox 8 can also function as a standalone audio interface with Overbridge support built in, giving you additional routing possibilities in compact production setups.
