Like every member of the Marc-series, the ANX extender excels due to easy installation and a steadily controlled high quality of manufacturing. It is tightened to the pc-case in a free slot using a usual screw, connected with the marc x using the included data cable and then instantly ready for operation. The new in- and outputs are right there as complete channels within the DSP mixer.
In-/Outputs
Four analogue in- and four analogue outputs in full duplex architecture in connection with sound optimized circuit design provide professional audio specifications. A/D and D/A converters of the renowned manufacturer AKM, as well as the complete hard- and software architecture are built for 24bit/96 kHz operation.
The analogue I/Os are lead outside via 6,3mm stereo TRS jacks. The outputs are low impedance and are therefore also headphone usable.
The THD ranges a 104 dB(A) on the A/D and a 110 db(A) on the D/A side. Software controlled input amplifiers allow incoming signals to be boosted by +18 dB or cut by 40 dB. All I/O functions of the base system, like flexible routing, mixing and the monitoring options are supported.
Driver suite
The MarcX audio system provides a complete list of drivers for windows.
The multi-client driver for ASIO, GSIF 2, WDM with kernel streaming and real, non emulated DirectSound support, constantly improved and expanded, provide minimal latency values for all software environments. Modular and handy driver dialogues enable the manipulation of many parameters and the display of all in and outputs. That includes exact level metering, flexible monitoring and synchronisation settings.
