Build a complete MIDI hub in one box
The H12MIDI Pro is designed to simplify busy MIDI setups by combining USB and TRS connectivity in one compact interface. You get six TRS MIDI inputs and six TRS MIDI outputs on 3.5 mm connections, each configurable for Type A or Type B through software.
Six USB-C host ports provide connectivity for USB MIDI devices, with support for expansion via a standard USB hub to access up to 16 input and 16 output host ports. This makes it easy to bring keyboards, synths, modules, controllers, digital drums, and pedals together without spreading your routing across several separate boxes.
Work standalone with saved internal routing
A major strength of the H12MIDI Pro is its ability to run fully standalone. Once you have created your MIDI routing and control structure, the unit stores everything internally so your setup remains exactly as you left it after power cycling. That is especially useful for live rigs and streamlined studio spaces where consistency matters.
You can configure MIDI thru, merge, split, filter, and mapping functions in the free HxMIDI Tools app, then switch between up to six presets directly from the hardware. This gives you a fast way to move between different instruments, performance needs, or production sessions without rebuilding your MIDI network each time.
Keep timing tight across every connection
The H12MIDI Pro is built for accurate and reliable data transfer across demanding setups. Its 32-bit processor is designed for high-precision transmission at four times the speed, while the high-speed optocoupler helps maintain secure, error-free MIDI input. CME also states near-zero latency performance with exact transfer of all MIDI messages, including clock, sysex, MTC, and MPE. This results in tighter synchronisation between connected devices and more dependable response during performance or recording. If your setup depends on several pieces of gear talking to each other cleanly, this kind of stability can make a real difference to workflow and confidence.
Expand easily for modern hybrid setups
Beyond its standalone strengths, the H12MIDI Pro fits neatly into computer and mobile workflows too. The USB-C client port provides up to eight virtual MIDI inputs and eight virtual MIDI outputs, with plug-and-play support for macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, Linux, and ChromeOS. You can also add CME WIDI Jack or WIDI Uhost for Bluetooth MIDI integration, opening up low-latency wireless control in a hybrid system.
The H12MIDI Pro can be powered via USB-C or a 9V DC supply, with a 25-LED feedback system that gives clear real-time status for port activity, presets, standby and reset functions. All of this helps make the H12MIDI Pro a tidy, adaptable centrepiece for modern MIDI control.
