The 32-note Slimkey keyboard provides a responsive and natural playing experience while remaining small enough for tight setups. Each key senses both velocity and aftertouch, allowing subtle control of dynamics and modulation.
Chord and Scale modes simplify harmony building, while pitch and mod strips add smooth performance gestures. The shallow profile ensures the controller sits comfortably among other studio or live equipment without taking unnecessary space.
Create and evolve musical ideas
The Keystep MK2 acts as both a controller and an idea generator. Its step sequencer supports real-time or step-time recording with rests, ties, and multiple voices per step. Patterns can be chained into longer sections or instantly reshaped using the Mutate feature, which produces new variations from existing material. The built-in arpeggiator provides sixteen creative modes, allowing continuous experimentation and spontaneous melodic development.
Seamless hardware and software integration
Comprehensive connectivity allows the Keystep MK2 to act as the centre of any setup. USB-C provides MIDI and power in one connection, while standard MIDI DIN and Sync I/O handle drum machines or vintage instruments.
Four CV outputs (Pitch, Gate, Mod 1, and Mod 2)are freely assignable for controlling modular or analogue gear with precision. The sustain and expression pedal inputs add another layer of control for expressive performances.
