Harmony Engine
Harmonies in real-time
Harmony Engine allows you to create incredible real-time harmonies from either a vocal or a monophonic instrument. Its deep level of control and array of features means that it will work well with whatever genre of music you throw at it.
Hands off harmony or hands on harmony
There are varying degrees of control with Harmony Engine, depending on how you want to use it. You can let it do its own thing, by simply providing the key and scale you want it to use and it will generate harmony lines from your track. Another option is to jam along with a MIDI controller, or even programme every voice exactly how you want it down to the last note.
Four voices with unison multipliers
Harmony Engine features four individually configurable voices which allows you to adjust your personal choir to the exact way you want it. Change the character of the vocals, the level of vibrato and their panning. Then use the Choir vocal multiplier to make each voice a unison section of two, four, eight or sixteen singers.
Make it natural, make it human
To stop the end result sounding too processed, Antares have included a Humanization section to the Harmony engine. This includes Naturalize, Pitch Variation and Timing controls, which make the resulting sound more like real people singing harmony. Of course, if you're going for the opposite effect, you can turn these right down and have a less than natural result.
