Complete mixing engine in a compact rack format
At its core, the WING RACK delivers the same processing architecture as the full WING console, making it suitable for complex productions without requiring a large control surface. Its 48 stereo input channels, multiple bus structures, and advanced routing options allow you to build detailed mixes for front of house, monitors, broadcast feeds, and recording workflows from a single unit.
Hands-on control with streamlined workflow
A 10.1" capacitive touch screen provides direct access to the WING user interface, offering clear visual feedback across channels, effects, routing, and system settings. The adjustable front panel helps maintain visibility in different rack positions, while the interface itself is designed to keep navigation fast and logical during both setup and live operation.
High-quality preamps and scalable I/O
Equipped with 24 Midas PRO mic preamps, the WING RACK captures sources with clarity and consistency across a wide dynamic range. Eight onboard outputs support direct routing, while three AES50 ports enable expansion to larger systems. Using Klark Teknik SuperMAC technology, these connections support up to 144 channels of remote I/O with low latency, making it easy to integrate stage boxes and distributed audio systems.
Advanced processing and flexible channel control
Each input channel benefits from extensive processing options, including multiple plug-in style slots for EQ, compression, and insert effects. Dedicated processing is also available across aux channels and buses, with parametric EQ, dynamics, stereo imaging, and dual insert points. This allows precise control over every part of your mix, from individual channels through to final outputs.
Built-in effects for mix shaping
Two independent FX racks provide a wide selection of processing tools. The premium rack includes true-stereo processors with recognised reverb and effects styles, while the standard rack offers additional modulation, EQ, and dynamics options. Both racks can be integrated directly into channels or buses, or used alongside external processors where needed.
Recording, playback, and DAW integration
Dual SD card slots enable direct multitrack recording and playback, supporting up to 64 tracks with marker placement for easy navigation. This makes virtual soundchecks and live recording straightforward without additional hardware. For studio integration, the built-in 48x48 USB interface connects directly to a DAW, with HUI and Mackie Control support allowing remote control of recording software.
Monitoring and output flexibility
Four dedicated stereo headphone outputs with high-performance amplifiers provide flexible monitoring options for engineers and performers. These outputs are well suited to in-ear monitoring systems, rehearsal setups, or broadcast environments where multiple independent headphone mixes are required.
Connectivity for modern production setups
Network integration is handled via dual Ethernet ports with an integrated switch, enabling remote control and support for audio over IP expansion. Additional connectivity includes AES/EBU digital I/O, MIDI, GPIO ports, and a built-in expansion slot for optional interface cards such as MADI or ADAT. StageCONNECT support also allows low-latency connection to personal monitoring systems or remote analogue I/O.
