The modern-day monosynth

Thirty years after their Midim-g/Midimini, SE have reissued the popular monosynth, with a whole host of practical features to streamline your modular experience. These include modular connectivity on 3.5mm minijack, enhanced overdrive, ring modulation, MIDI learn capabilities and the LFO gate from Roland collaboration the SE02. Also added to the monosynth are CV inputs to all three oscillators, revealed patch points for the noise, filter and envelopes. Additionally, the LFO can be now be configured in multiple different shapes.

Features from the Boomstar range

Studio Electronics Boomstar range proved extremely popular, providing raw power and discreet analog in compact modular systems. The Midimini V30 has taken the Amp simulation and Overdrive, Ring Modulation and Noise, as well as the MIDI, learn capability from the Boomstar synth. The infinite drone mode has also been taken, providing eternal sustain and easy tuning.

Reliable build and thru-hole technology

The slick design of the V30 is not only easy to navigate but designed to withstand frequent use thanks to the vintage style knobs and robust chassis. Thru-hole technology is used for every PC board across the V30. This refers to the mounting scheme for electric components, providing strong, dependable connections within the circuitry. Across the unit, features include analogue oscillators, 24dB transistor ladder filter, two ADSR envelopes and an LFO, all easily accessible across the spacious front panel.
