The Leviasynth sound engine centres around eight oscillators per voice, each with access to over 300 waveforms and seven oscillator modes. These oscillators are grouped into algorithms that define how they influence each other, opening up detailed harmonic and textural control.

With 144 preset algorithms plus a user-definable option per patch, there is plenty of scope to experiment. Algorithm morphing lets you move smoothly between configurations, which is especially useful for evolving pads, animated leads, and shifting soundscapes. Each oscillator has its own envelope, supported by additional shared envelopes and LFOs, all routed through a clear 32-slot modulation matrix.

Shape tone with hybrid filtering and effects

Hybrid filtering gives you both precision and character. The digital multimode filter offers a wide selection of responses, including low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, and more specialised types, while the analogue four-pole low-pass filter adds weight and natural saturation. Pre-drive and self-oscillation expand sound design options without needing external processing.

Effects are integrated directly into the engine, with insert and master stages covering modulation, dynamics, distortion, delay, and reverb. This setup keeps everything contained, making it easy to finish sounds inside the instrument rather than relying on outboard gear or plug-ins.

Play with detail and expression

ASM’s Polytouch polyphonic aftertouch keyboard responds to individual finger pressure, so you can shape timbre, filter movement, or modulation per note.
