A Quarter Of A Century Of CD's
The way we purchase and play music has developed a lot in recent years, but the way to enjoy the highest quality sound still comes down to the CD player. CD's were developed for convenience and can be played on many different devices - computers, DVD players, game consoles, etc. Yamaha believe that the best way to listen to music is on a dedicated CD player. Here they have developed the ultimate listening experience with the CD-S2000 - it enables listeners to enjoy music exactly how it was created and intended to sound.
Conversion
The CD-S2000 succeeds in doubling the conversion precision by using Yamaha's DAC converters on the plus side and minus side. Even during this digital age, the mechanism that picks up the signal on the CD-S2000 is analogue. So the precision is a lot higher and therefore delivers a much higher quality sound to the listener.
Unwanted Noise Reduction
The independent power supplies use separate transformers - this is to eliminate any unwanted noise from the audio circuitry and the digital circuitry. Having them isolated from one another reduces the risk of any effect of noise from both circuits enabling the listener to purely enjoy the music they are playing on the CD-S2000. The sound quality is further improved by noise reduction from Yamaha's highly reliable brushless motor, and their exclusive Loading Mechanism with Superior Quietness.
The CD-S2000 has been constructed to maximize sound quality with its sturdy exterior and its stable interior due to the reinforcing bar in the centre, accompanied by its stabilizing feet - specially designed to ground the CD player and reduce vibrations from the surface it is positioned on. For an even more dynamic listening experience, the Yamaha CD-S2000 is capable of playing Super Audio CDs.
Design
Along with its sophisticated exterior, the smooth aluminum disc tray provides a luxurious touch to match the superb sound quality. With its symmetrical left-right design, the CD-S2000 is simple and elegant.
