Providing 125 watts per channel, the Sonos AMP can power a wide variety of music equipment including passive speakers, TV systems, CD players, turntables and everything in between. It can also be used to power bigger outdoor speakers that require additional power at high volumes, delivering crisp and clean sound reproduction. The wireless amp also offers deep integration with Sonos speakers, allowing you to control all your Sonos speakers simultaneously for multiroom, immersive listening.
Stream your favourite music, podcast and audiobooks
Transmitting via WiFi, you can listen to your favourite songs, podcasts and even audiobooks from your chosen streaming service. Whether you want to jam to your favourite Spotify playlist or sit back and enjoy an audiobook on Audible, you can do it all with the Sonos AMP. Not only that, but you can access thousands of live radio/online stations.
Rack-mountable design with special connections
For those who prefer their own cables; the Sonos Amp comes fitted with custom-threaded banana plugs (standard diameter) which offer high-quality performance and audio fidelity. It also features a line input for added versatility. You can also streamline your home audio setup using the onboard HDMI ARC connection. It even has ethernet ports so you can connect your internet service directly to the amp.
As well as working great as a free-standing amplifier, you can mount the Sonos AMP within a rack. The rack-mountable design helps to optimise the airflow of the AMP, keeping it cool thanks to the advanced heatsink.
Sonos app and Trueplay optimise your listening experience
The Sonos AMP is simple and easy to use and made that much easier using the Sonos app available for your smartphone/tablet device. Using the Sonos app you can connect to all your streaming services to play your favourite music instantaneously. The app will also take you through step-by-step instructions to get yourself set up and streaming your favourite music and audiobooks in no time.
Once you've connected your Sonos AMP, you can optimise your Sonos speaker's audio performance by fine-tuning the sound to the unique acoustics of your room. Trueplay (iOS device required) will measure the acoustic properties of the room you’re in and automatically tune the speaker to deliver the best possible sound quality, no matter where you place it.
