Exceptional Tonewood
Warwick have opted for swamp ash for the body of this bass. As a tonewood, you can expect a lot of similarities with the popular ash body. With swamp ash, you get a slightly wider spectrum. However, whilst this tonewood is similar to ash, it provides your tone with fuller response toward the midrange of frequencies, whilst still keeping ash's distinct brightness. Because of this, the GPS Corvette bass is versatile and can suit many styles.
Whether you’re playing up or down the neck, you can expect the highs to shine beautifully through the mix and the lows to rumble.
Adjust the Nut
Warwick’s Just A Nut III is featured as standard on the Warwick Corvette. The nut is an incredibly important part of any guitar, with Just A Nut III, Warwick has offered a lot of flexibility for adjusting the action and adapting to different string gauges. Often the domain of a guitar's bridge, the Just A Nut gives players more options for changing these settings by moving them away from just one part of the bass. The Just A Nut III is the newest version of this innovative system and is essential to modifying the playability of your bass to give you the best possible sound.
Powerful Raw Tone
Take tonal control. Loaded with two expertly-designed passive MEC JJ pick ups, they emit a gorgeously organic sound, decorating your music with character. Passive pickups are renowned for providing a very balanced tone throughout the frequency spectrum.
The dual passive pickup configuration gives your tone a very clean, raw output meaning you can take complete control at the amp stage. Passive pickups form a foundational tone for you to manipulate fully for rock, metal and jazz styles. Take complete control of your sound and sculpt your tone to your desires. The active MEC active pick up system is equipped with volume, balance, and stacked treble/bass controls to provide even more versatility.
