The V100AFD is loaded with Wilkinson WVHZ humbuckers, which provide a strong humbucking tone with excellent definition, nuance, and dynamic range, courtesy of their high-gain output. This style of pickup is perfect for modern blues and rock players who require a range of sounds from chunky rhythms to saturated leads. The WVHZ humbuckers enhance the warmth and resonance of the mahogany/maple body, giving you a fat tone with great sustain.

Despite the Vintage V100AFD's accessible price, the guitar is constructed with a high-quality mahogany body and neck, maple cap, and a lignum rosa fingerboard. This tone wood combination offers a classic tonality with excellent warmth, resonance and sustain - perfect for blues, rock, and more. The maple cap extends the guitar's top-end frequency response, while the flamed maple veneer provides a classy aesthetic - reminiscent of far more expensive guitars.

Effortless playability

This model features a lignum rosa fretboard, which provides excellent balance across the strings, along with the ability to set up a low string action with no risk of the strings "choking" when you play string bends. Its neck sits easily in the left hand, while the specially contoured joint and single cutaway assists with top-fret access for high range solos. This playability gives you the smooth feel of a more modern instrument with the looks and sounds of a classic rock guitar - perfect for both rhythm and lead work.

Like all Vintage guitars, the V100AFD features Trev Wilkinson-designed hardware, built on years of industry experience. Its bridge provides a stable platform for your strings to sit, along with optimum string vibration transfer to the body. This is complemented by Wilkinson WJ44 tuners, providing a smooth action for quick and stable tuning. A graphite nut assists with tuning by providing a friction-free platform for the strings to pass over when bending strings and tuning. Should your performances get a little more active, the V100AFD is fitted with strap locks so you can be sure that your guitar will remain locked in place - no matter how wild your stage antics are.
