Offering impeccable studio quality sound, this inclusive device is equipped with a power attenuator, a multi-impedance loadbox, DI, and re-amping box, all of which help you to achieve your ideal sound at any volume and simply at the flick of a switch. Two Notes spent years researching the specifications and requirements of guitarists and sound technicians when creating the Torpedo Reload, exposing common problems and ensuring that this device offered a versatile solution with impeccable audio quality.
Premium technology
This Loadbox comes equipped with a selection of premium technology to ensure complete tonal excellence. This Loadbox comes prepared with a HI-Z guitar input, which offers a completely uncompressed, dynamically sensitive DI, which ensures that ensures that your signal sound exactly as though you were plugged straight into your amplifier or recording device, at any level. This input consistency is further supported with the use of the Match Technology, which even with large gaps between practices, allowing your sound to be re-amped at a consistent level, simply plug in and turn the replay dial till the Match LED is green and then you are good to go.
Attenuator
Unlike other attenuators on the market that may show your amplifier a higher impedance and thereby crush its tone, the Torpedo Reload provides you with a constant loadbox impedance which is similar to a speaker’s, and which is low enough to drive the speaker in the best way possible. The tone picked up by the loadbox is therefore transmitted to the speaker without any modification, delivering a superb tone.
Wall of Sound plug-in
The Wall of Sound (WoS) from Two Notes offers a virtual alternative to traditional miking, to achieve an authentic tone, never experienced previously with simulations tools. Simply plug Reload in place with your cabinet and connect the amplifier’s speaker output to it and without modifying any of the usual settings. The Torpedo Reload Loadbox output signal can be sent to any microphone preamplifier and that signal recorded thanks to your DAW on a track embedding the Torpedo WoS plugin. The Wall of Sound also comes with a library of 24 cabinets and 8 microphones based on popular models.
