A Reissue of a Classic with Updated Features

The original '61-'75 vintage modified bass VI provided a distinctive low-end that featured in a number of renown bands, including The Beatles and The Cure. This Squier reissue of the Bass VI is distinguished from the original by its comfortable "modern C" shaped neck and 9.5" fingerboard radius, as opposed to the original's 7.25". Three custom jaguar pickups provide the bass with its distinguished sound, while the vintage-style six-saddle bridge features a non-locking floating vibrato, which is not commonly found on a bass, to create incredible pitch shifting effects.

Beautifully Constructed

The Squier Bass VI has a striking asymmetrical body with deep cutaways to provide easy access to the upper frets. The solid basswood tonewood offers a powerful midrange with excellent dynamics and definition, letting you create fat, well balanced tones with plenty of power behind it. The addition of a maple neck enhances its natural brightness, creating a sizzling high-end with a thick, creamy low-end.
