Solid Sitka Spruce Top & Mahogany Body
The Sigma 000MC-1STE+ features a solid sitka spruce top which produces a versatile sound that is able to accommodate numerous genres and techniques with ease; from lighter fingerpicking styles, to heavier more aggressive strumming patterns. In addition, its stunning sitka spruce top also yields a crisp and articulate tone with a broad dynamic range, and a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm mid-range, and bright singing highs. Furthermore, the solid top is paired with mahogany back and sides, which produce a resonant distinct warmth. Additionally, used as back and side panels, the mahogany delivers a meaty mid-range, producing punchy, woody tones with plenty of depth and complexity that will please most playing styles.
000 Cutaway Body
The Sigma 000MC-1STE+ features a 000-14 fret cutaway body size with a shape similar to that of auditorium guitars, offering a versatile acoustic guitar with great projection and volume. In addition, its versatility enables players of different musical styles and backgrounds to unleash their true potential, accommodating anything from lighter folk-inspired fingerpicking styles to more aggressive strumming patterns and meaty chords. Fishman Isys+ Preamp
The Sigma 000MC-1STE+ comes equipped with a Fishman Isys+ preamp, offering basic sound tweaking for live and rehearsal environments. The on-board preamp features rotary controls for volume, bass and treble; allowing a player to add a little extra bass or treble to their amplified sound whilst a phase button can be used to reduce undesirable feedback when plugged in. In addition, the preamp also features a convenient built-in tuner that has an easy-to-read LED screen, perfect for tuning up or down within the darkest of venues, as well as being ideal for precise and easy tuning when playing acoustically. Mahogany Neck & Micarta Fingerboard
Constructed from mahogany, the Sigma's neck delivers a resonant rich warmth that responds superbly to many different playing styles with equal ease. Additionally, the neck has a low profile shape for added comfort and a better grip in each position up and down the neck. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a micarta fingerboard which offers a smooth playing experience whilst adding sonically pleasing tones to the guitar's overall sound.
Bone Nut
The 000MC-1STE+ features a bone nut, which offers excellent resonance and sustain, along with an authentic appearance. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self lubricates and helps you stay in tune for longer.
