Stylish Mahogany Body
The Schecter Synyster Custom-S has a body constructed from high quality Mahogany to produce powerful tones. The Mahogany body offers naturally rich, warm tones, with a balance of grind and bite to create tights lows and appealing highs. The wood offers the guitar excellent amounts of depth and helps provide an incredible sustain. With black binding, black hardware, and a Floyd Rose bridge, the Schecter is given a dark earth burst finish with black pin stripes to create a visually stunning look that is both stylish and unique.
Mahogany Neck, Ebony Fingerboard
The 3-piece Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard has been designed to provide a smooth, fast play, perfect for shredding with. The neck is designed with carbon fiber reinforcement rods to prevent the neck from bowing, no matter how much string tension the neck is under. The Mahogany/Ebony combination produces tight, warm tones that are defined and open with a fast attack. The two woods provide the guitars sound with a muscular, controlled bass and snappy, sizzling highs. It also comes with many other features including Grover machine heads, a Floyd rose locking nut and silver Syn inlays with a death bat at the 12th fret.
Seymour Duncan and Sustainiac Pickups
The Schecter guitar features a Synyster Gate custom Seymour Duncan invader humbucker and a Sustainiac pickup, producing meaty, aggressive tones with incredible amounts of sustain. The humbucker is designed with large ceramic magnets, extra-large pole pieces and over-wound coils. This design allows the Synyster invader neck humbucker to produce heavy, meaty tones, perfect for playing loud and aggressive. The Sustinaiac pickup provides incredible amounts of sustain, with the 3-way switch for selecting different types of sustain.
Floyd Rose Tremolo System
Floyd Rose are one of the leading manufacturers of guitar bridges, using top of the range design techniques to craft outstanding quality parts. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose 1500 series allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. The bridge works in tangent with the locking nut for increase string stability and prevents the strings from detune after excessive bending.
