Synyster’s Signature Custom-S is equipped with an innovative Sustainiac pickup system, allow players to add unique effects and harmonic overtones to their performance. The Sustainiac can prolong the sustain of the guitar by capturing the vibrations and turning them into vibration energy, this is then distributed back to the strings to increase the sustain of a note for as long as required. The Sustainiac also features an on/off switch and a mode switch, with the options between fundamental, harmonic, or a mix between the two. Selecting the fundamental mode will allow the strings to vibrate normally, but with an infinite sustain, while harmonic mode morphs plucked notes into a high harmonic vibration.
