The Mark Five 35 is effectively a collection of Mesa Boogie’s most celebrated amplifiers in one compact combo. Channel 1 spans everything from tight, chiming clean tones through edge-of-breakup sounds and into classic rock crunch, while Channel 2 delivers the revered Mark IIC+, the smoother Mark IV voice, and the aggressive Extreme mode. This wide tonal palette allows the amp to cover blues, rock, metal, and fusion with ease, all while retaining the focused attack and articulation that define the Mark Series sound.
Multi-Watt power and dynamic feel
Mesa’s patented Multi-Watt power section allows each channel to be independently assigned to 10, 25, or 35 watts. At 35 watts, the amp offers impressive headroom, punch, and clarity for live performance. Dropping to 25 watts introduces a slightly looser feel, while 10 watts provides earlier power tube saturation and a more compressed response at lower volumes. Combined with Dyna-Watt technology, this design ensures the amp feels lively and responsive at any power setting.
Advanced tone shaping and solo control
A footswitchable five-band graphic EQ provides precise tonal sculpting beyond the standard tone controls, allowing you to fine-tune your sound for different guitars, rooms, or mixes. Channel-independent Solo controls act as an alternate master volume, giving you a powerful and musical boost for leads without altering your core tone. An intuitive footswitch preview system shows solo status at a glance, making level changes confident and predictable on stage.
Recording, DI, and practice flexibility
The built-in CabClone DI makes the Mark Five 35 equally capable offstage. Three analogue cabinet simulations, Open Back, Vintage, and Closed Back, allow you to tailor the direct sound for recording or front-of-house feeds. An internal load and headphone output enable silent practice while still using the full valve signal path, preserving feel and dynamics. With reverb, effects loop, and robust construction throughout, it’s a professional-grade combo designed for real-world use.
