Unlimited tone
Blow the room away. With 500W of power at 4 ohms and 300W at 8, this amp will blast your basslines out at incredible force, offering more volume than you would ever need. What makes it even better is this earthquake of sound doesn’t come at the detriment of the amp’s tone. The CMD 121H IV still holds its iconic natural warmth and provides multiple ways to refine every little detail.
A four band EQ is a perfect place to start, giving you plenty of room to adjust with the ability to either increase or decrease each band up to 16dB, making the amp easily customisable to suit any genre. For quicker access to the EQ, Markbass have included a three-way switch, letting you quickly change between a super-balanced flat tone, a scooped pre-set that boosts highs and lows while dropping the mids, or finally a footswitch option to control the mute and scooped EQ simultaneously.
No connectivity difficulty
Optimised so you can efficiently connect your devices, the CMD 121H IV offers up a wide selection of connectivity options. As you would expect, a standard unbalanced 1/4 “ jack input is featured on the front, alongside a footswitch input. A tuner out connection also allows you to add a tuner into your setup, to ensure total tonal accuracy during every moment of the performance. A balanced XLR line out allows the amp to be directly connected to a DI, therefore making it easier to set up at gigs or for recording. It’s safe to say these features make this bass amp extremely user friendly.
Huge sound, portable design
Designed for bassists who crave premium quality sound and yet still want the convenience of a portable package, this bass combo offers it all. And its versatility isn't just limited to the thrilling tone it projects, but also in its superb practical qualities. It might be a larger alternative to the Mini CMD 121P IV, but the CMD 121 H IV is still a compact unit that lends itself to easy travel. Its extra size is, however, used practically, designed to make it easier to hear on stage, with a front-loaded head the controls are easier to see and more accessible to adjust mid performance. Use on its own or team with other speaker cabinets and fill any large venue with incredible volume. Wherever you are, your performance will be mesmerising.
