Portable Power
The Mark Bass Little Marcus is a highly compact and lightweight bass amp head that is perfect for grab-and-go jam sessions or small/medium gigs. The compact dimensions belie this amp's versatility, and it provides a wide range of tone-shaping options to get the exact sound you require. 250 watts is perfect for smaller sessions and, at just under 2.5KG, the Little Marcus is the ideal amp to quickly pack in your gig bag and hit the road.
Twin EQ
The Little Marcus's EQ1 provides a 5-band EQ, custom tuned by Marcus Miller to match the most important frequencies of the bass guitar. EQ2 provides additional Old School (low pass filter) and Millerizer (band pass filter) controls to add a more sculpted tone for alternate styles, whether that be mid-focussed vintage tones or scooped modern sounds. EQ2 can be engaged via an external footswitch for a handy, remote-controlled, alternative sound during live performances.
Input Gain
The input gain control is independent of the master volume, giving you the ability to drive the input for a warm overdrive sound. This is ideal for a slightly 'pushed' sound with enhanced harmonic content.
Multiple Connection Options
The Little Marcus may be small, but it includes many options to fully integrate with your rig. A speakon/jack combi output allows you to connect your speaker of choice, while the XLR line out is a handy addition for studio recording and for use with a mixing desk/PA system. An FX loop allows you to connect your own effects pedals (pre/post EQ switchable), while the tuner output and mute switch is ideal for live performances.
