Andy Timmons’ ambient voice in a dedicated pedal
The Nocturne reverb captures the spacious character Andy Timmons is known for, focusing on the ambient half of his HALO sound.
Built on Keeley’s Core architecture, the pedal delivers a lush and touch-sensitive response that reacts naturally to dynamics and phrasing. Notes bloom smoothly and decay with control, helping lead lines feel larger and more expressive. The voicing is designed to sit behind your playing, adding depth and emotion without masking detail.
Three reverb modes with distinct personalities
Nocturne offers three carefully tuned reverb modes to suit different musical needs. The Nocturne mode delivers Andy’s signature ambient space, ideal for expansive leads and atmospheric textures. Spring mode draws inspiration from classic standalone tanks and tube amplifiers, offering a familiar and lively character.
Plate mode is based on the famous Austin City Limits plate reverb from the 1970s, delivering a smooth and balanced studio-style decay. Switching between modes is quick and intuitive, keeping experimentation fluid.
Simple controls with deep shaping options
The four-knob layout focuses on Tone, Level, Decay, and Modulation, making it easy to dial in sounds quickly. Tone adjusts the brightness of the reverb trail, while Decay controls how long it lingers. Modulation adds movement to the tail or simulates spring age in Spring mode.
For deeper control, hidden functions allow access to pre-delay timing and a high-pass filter, letting you fine-tune how the reverb sits in a mix without cluttering the interface.
Presets and performance-friendly switching
The Nocturne makes it easy to store and recall sounds on the fly. Each reverb mode supports saved presets, with clear LED indication showing live control or stored settings. This allows quick transitions between ambient washes and more subtle textures during a set. Trails can be enabled so reverb fades naturally when the pedal is bypassed, keeping transitions smooth and musical. These features are designed with live performance in mind.
Flexible routing and advanced control
Designed to adapt to a wide range of setups, the Nocturne supports mono and stereo operation, including wet and dry routing options. It can run in wet-only mode for parallel rigs or studio-style setups. True or buffered bypass can be selected to suit pedalboard needs, and full expression pedal support allows real-time control over parameters. MIDI compatibility opens access to up to 72 presets, making the Nocturne suitable for complex switching systems.
Built for working musicians
Like all Keeley pedals, the Nocturne Andy Timmons Reverb is designed and manufactured in Oklahoma, USA. Every detail is engineered with reliability and musicality in mind, focusing on feel as much as sound. Built to withstand regular use while delivering consistent performance, the Nocturne is a refined reverb tool for players who value expressive ambience, practical control, and thoughtful design.
