The high gain sound was a key part to this genre, and the Boss HM2 is now sought-after for its recreation of that tone. The KMA Machines Wurm reproduces the crushing tones of the Boss HM2 and goes beyond what the original could achieve. It features a powerful 4-band EQ for great versatility and internal DIP switches to alter the pedal's response. Now, thanks to KMA Machine's innovation, you can enjoy this massive sound too. Powerful EQ
The KMA Machines Wurm features a 4-band active EQ giving you control over the highs, lows, low-mids and high-mids. These controls can boost or cut the frequency bands and are powerful tools for sculpting your sound. This sonic control enables your to find your perfect sound every time, so that when you pickup and play, all you have to think about is your performance - no unnecessary distractions. The TERROR control provides the same effect as its name; it provides layers of gain that takes your tone into a powerful and articulate saturation that is perfect for metal playing.
Internal DIP Switches
Highly responsive, the Wurm includes 2 internal DIP switches that alter the way the high-mids control responds. The DIP switches alter the frequency range of the high-mids dial, giving you three sounds: the original Boss HM2 sound, a new KMA designated frequency, and a blend of 3 different frequencies. This lets you tailor the response of the pedal to exactly how you prefer.
KMA Machines
KMA Machines is a Berlin-based boutique company producing high quality hand-made FX pedals. All the pedals are constructed by hand with a rigorous attention to detail. They feature unique silk-screen designs and premium components such as custom double-sided PCBs and virtually indestructible power-coated aluminium enclosures. The company has a strong interest in both modern and vintage pedals, and began life producing custom made units. Since 2013, they have gained popularity with a wide range of guitarists and bassists.
