Sculpted for perfection
Every detail of this guitar has been carefully thought out to ensure you receive the best playing experience possible. Starting with the foundation of the guitar, the body. Crafted from two different types of maple, figured and silver leaf, you are provided with comfort as well as an excellent tone and pleasing aesthetics. Attached is a mahogany neck, which also enhances the guitar’s overall sound with its rich and warm voicing. The wood also provides a smooth base for your hand to glide down for a fast and articulate performance.
Sat on top of the neck is a richlite fingerboard adorned with twenty-two frets. This tops of your comfort thanks to its natural and smooth feel, providing luxury under your fingers. It also features ergocut shaping, which bevels the edges of the fretboard and enhances your great playability. Each Godin guitar is meticulously crafted from the finest materials to provide you with an instrument worthy of a lifetime of music making.
Unique tone
This model is equipped with a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups. With these, players are able to split the sound to achieve the crisp and clean sound of a single coil, or the powerful voicing of a humbucker via the five-way switch setup. This provides you with wide tonal capabilities to discover new styles, genres, and sounds.
To stretch the flexibility of the LGXT AA, you can turn down the electric volume and raise the transducer saddles for an incredibly authentic-sounding guitar. Its acoustic voice is enhanced by an on-board preamp with three-way EQ. The two inputs are designed so that the electric and acoustic voices can be blended together, separate volume controls on the guitar make it easy to mix the two signals. This makes live performances run smoother, as you don’t have to switch between your electric and acoustic in between songs.
Synth access
The Godin LGXT's third voice is synth tracking, the 13-pin connector provides direct access to all Roland GR series synths as well as most other 13-pin devices. The synth setting enables players to achieve more unique tones, and sound like a completely different instrument. Offering one of the most versatile guitars on the market, the guitar features two mini toggle switches that can be alternated between all three voices, offering personalised setup ideal for the gigging guitarist.
