There's a certain kind of Telecaster player who reveres the instrument for its archetypal design and crisp signature sound, yet seeks to cover even wider sonic ground. To get thicker, full-bodied power, many players have modified their Telecaster guitars with humbucking pickups.
Fender's new Blacktop Telecaster HH guitar has that sound, power - and more. It features dual over-wound alnico humbucking pickups that deliver hot high-gain sound. Sleek and supercharged, distinctive touches include skirted black amp knobs, a reversed chrome control plate and a hard-tail bridge. This Tele also features an Alder body, Maple neck with 9.5" - radius Rosewood fretboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, gloss polyester finish and chrome hardware.
