Classical Cutaway Body
The Dean Espana features a classical cutaway body, offering a comfortable playing experience thanks to its slim body and cutaway profile. Its cutaway also provides easy access to the upper frets, making it easier to deliver more challenging chords and ideal for experimenting with fingerpicking techniques. It can perform superbly within traditional classical, jazz, and flamenco genres, as well as more complex techniques.
The Dean Espana is crafted from a stunning solid cedar top with mahogany back and sides. This combination produces an incredibly warm sound, with an excellent response and dark characteristic. Cedar's rich harmonics and sweet tonality is ideal for fingerpicking styles, while the mahogany's deep, complex tones suit a variety of musical genres.

What makes the Dean Espana Classical Plus a great stage guitar is its powerful DMT G05 electronics. This control section gives you excellent control over your tone, letting you boost its volume and enhance its characteristics to suit any environment. You can even experiment with the control to create unique and inspiring sounds.
Its EQ features controls over the bass, mid, and treble frequencies, with two controls for the mids and a presence control to provide further tone shaping. You also get an in-built tuner, which you can use to keep you and your bass delivering the best performance possible.
