Sansamp
The Tech 21 Bass Fly-Rig features a unique Character control that sweeps through the most storied vintage and modern tones. Three-band active EQ provides professional grade tweakability for any situation or gig. Add dirt and grind with the flick of a switch, and also add distortion by engaging the Pre-Boost.
Octafilter
The Octafilter feature offers an entire re-invented pallette of expression with a crazy amount of possibilities and features, from Minimoog®-style synth to funky town. The controls interact so that you can get dynamically-filtered clean, fuzz, and octave, as well as octave and fuzz together. When Q is at minimum, the range becomes a high-cut tone filter for different versions of clean, fuzz, octave, and octave and fuzz together. In addition you can then blend any of these combinations with your direct signal via the Mix control.
Chorus
The Chorus feature adds choral voicings of two instruments which was originally taken from Sansamp Bass Boost Chorus pedal. This feature also adds thickness and space, for a truly great sound.
Switchable Pre/Post Boost
This Pre-Boost mode enables you to interact with the SansAmp section to build up drive and distortion. In addition, the Post-Boost mode increases the overall volume to punch up fills and solos.
Chromatic Tuner
A simple and easy-to-use Chromatic Tuner. Simply hold down the CHR footswitch to engage the Tuner, which simultaneously mutes the signal path and allows you to tune your instrument without being heard.
With all these great features the Tech 21 Bass Fly-Rig is a compact unit, which can easily fit into an instrument case.
