Comfortable Nitro Wizard Neck
The Nitro Wizard neck profile is optimised for technically challenging playing styles and its thin design enables players to perform fast runs with ease. The thin nature of this neck creates a fast playability, but it still retains enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords. Crafted from 3-piece maple and purpleheart, the guitar's neck provides iron-like strength for enhanced neck stability and a strong sustain.
Ebony Fingerboard
As well as featuring a dark body, the Ibanez Iron Label also includes a bound ebony fingerboard to add to its stylish aesthetic. Ebony is a popular choice amongst metal bands where its dark hue is always appreciated. As a tonewood, ebony provides a smooth natural finish, along with a responsive, bright, and snappy attack with a smooth sustain.
Ash and Mahogany Body
A mahogany body gives the FRIX6FEAH a warm and resonant core tone that is complemented by a stunning ash top. Mahogany is chosen for its warmth, sustain and resonance; it allows your solos and riffs to ring with sustain. The flat charcoal finish provides a wonderfully smooth and tactile playing surface, as well as being thin enough to let the woods 'breathe'.
Stable Hardware
This stealthy guitar also features a Gibraltar Standard II bridge, designed to join completely flush with the guitar's body and provide optimal transfer of each string's vibration for an enhanced resonance and sustain. The bridge's smooth surface is also designed to maximise playing comfort, whilst enabling full adjustment over action and intonation.
The guitar is also loaded with Gotoh MG-T locking tuning machine heads. These allow you to change strings quickly and they also provide excellent tuning stability; perfect for more aggressive styles of playing.
Classic Metal Sound
Designed with the metal guitarist in mind, the FRIX6FEAH is equipped with a set of EMG pickups to offer a range of vicious tones. The EMG 81 on the bridge position delivers an intense high-end with clarity and articulation for the most complex riffs, while the EMG 60 in the neck-position offers a balanced tone with thick boosted mids. If that's not enough, this powerful guitar also features a kill switch for stuttering 'musical strobe effects' at the flick of a switch.
