Evertune bridge
Say goodbye to mid-set tune-ups. Nothing kills the vibe of a sweaty rock show like an out of tune guitar. Thanks to the ESP LTD MH-1000 's built-in Evertune bridge, you'll never have to pause to tune up again. The Evertune system is a radical design, which uses an intricate combination of gears and levers to precisely maintain each string's tension, no matter how hard you go on stage.
Decide how much variation you want to allow in each individual string's pitch, simply by turning a screw. This means you can set your lowest strings for perfectly intonated sludge, no matter how hard you pick, while keeping the ability to perform bends in the higher register. And don't worry about bending those new strings - the Evertune is constantly recalibrating to counteract that drop in pitch as your new strings bed in, so you can string up and hit the stage with confidence.
Fluid Fluence pickup sound
Actively improve your heavy tone. This LTD MH-1000 model comes loaded with Fishman's astounding Fluence Modern pickup set. These ultra-versatile pickups each feature two separate voicings, easily switched between via a push-pull tone knob. The first is a full-throttle, active onslaught, with a chunky, yet controlled bottom end, and a crisp, pushed top. The second is a slightly more controlled, passive humbucker sound, immediately recognisable and universally usable. Metalcore legends from Trivium to Killswitch Engage are huge fans of these pickups, and it's easy to hear why.
From the neck up
Quality that's built in. The MH-1000's sturdy, 3-piece maple neck offers a smooth and comfortable playing experience. This durable 3-piece construction is more resistant to warping than a classic 1-piece. The bright and clear tones from the maple are enhanced by the ebony fingerboard, which is known for its extremely responsive and snappy attack - perfect for sweeping solos and lightning-fast lead licks.
