Multi-dimensional pads – creative freedom for sound design
The Touch Control Module from Pittsburgh Modular brings new and creative ways to interact with your Eurorack system. Eliminating the restrictions of conventional chromatic keyboards, the Touch Controller delivers unprecedented interactivity.
The module features a total of ten multi-dimensional touch pads. These fully-configurable pads provide a versatile and interactive performance experience. The premium-grade pads deliver optimum expression, allowing you to interact with sounds in ways you could never do before. The module also features built-in sequencing capabilities, ideal for live performances as well as studio work.
Channel Animation – create complex sequences on the fly
The integrated Channel Animation sections features several controls for creating sequences. It features Mono and Duo buttons which can be used to toggle between the different playing modes. Create complex sequences with ease by using the many controls on offer.
The Rest/Reset/Division button allows you to add rest notes, reset the sequences and change the clock division of a sequence. There is also a Scan CV input, which is assigned to the active mono or duophonic channels, based on the incoming voltage.
Monophonic and Duophonic modes
Each playing mode features its own selectable controls. The monophonic mode enables all the output section to respond to the selected channel. The sequencing is triggered in order of how the notes are entered. To create a sequence, simply press and hold the Mono button and tap your pattern in using the channel touch pads. The single sequencer has access to all 10 channels, with the left and right section responding when a channel in their section is pressed.
The Duophonic mode is activated by pressing the Duo button. Once activated, all the output section mixes the outputs of both the left and right channels. This allows the channel to interact and transpose between each other for interesting sequential results.
